Abstract: LUNAR-WISE ABSTRACT In the recent years the number of kids with ADHD has increased by 10.4 percent. Children with ADHD and hyperactivity struggle to focus, especially in a classroom full of kids who have focus which might make them feel alienated and they also don't have separate classroom, therefore this kid's furniture (lunar wise) addresses this need effectively. The Lunar-Wise is an inclusive table design that can be used by kids and it is a modular multipurpose classroom furniture system designed for children aged between 4-6 years old. The system comprises of a table and storage space connected with edge to edge and shelving units with removable rack-stools. The key feature of the design is the integrated sensory paddle which supports repetitive motion for focus regulation. This furniture is different from the conventional tables used in classrooms because of its shape being two quarters of circles with two different radius each and usually conventional tables don't have storage space for the children using them and they also do not focus on helping the kids concentrate where as helping the kids focus is one of the key components in lunar wise. The structure eliminates mechanical assemblies while promoting inclusive, space-efficient classroom design and the paddle also helps with anxiety as repetitive motion like that can calm the child even without knowing. This design is also user friendly as there are multiple configurations in which the table can be arranged and the storage space also acts as a stool for the table and each kid in the classroom gets a separate space, each to store their books, bags and toys etc. In India kids don't usually get a separate space or a locker, therefore this is ought to help them. This design emphasizes on user safety due to which the shape has a curved outer and it's lightweight to move around and using this furniture in a classroom setting allows the children to use the table in a whole lot of new configurations. In conclusion, this design offers an efficient and inclusive design for both kids, with or without ADHD as its main aim is to help children focus in class.
