Abstract: ABSTRACT LUBRICATION SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE AND METHOD OF OPERATING THEREOF A lubrication system (200) including an oil gallery (102) and a feedback line (202) is disclosed. Feedback line (202) connects the oil gallery (102) to a sub-system (106) and a variable oil pump (110) via a first solenoid valve (108) and a second solenoid valve (112) respectively. First solenoid valve (108) controls supply of oil from the oil gallery (102) to the sub-system (106) via the feedback line (202). The second solenoid valve (112) controls supply of oil from the oil gallery (102) to the variable oil pump (110) via the feedback line (202) based on a desired flow rate of the variable oil pump (110). Upon determination of the state of first solenoid valve (108) as ON state, controller (203) variably operates the second solenoid valve (112) to control supply of oil to the variable oil pump (110) based on the desired flow rate.
