Abstract: There is provided a method performed by a first network node, the method comprising: transmitting, to a second network node associated with a candidate target cell of a layer 1/layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) handover, a request to assign scheduling request indicator (SRI) resources for a user equipment that may be handed over from a source cell associated with the first network node to the candidate target cell; receiving, from the second network node, an indication of the assigned SRI resources; and transmitting the indication of the assigned SRI resources to the user equipment, wherein the SRI resources are useable by the user equipment for performing a transmission in connection of the LTM handover.
