MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611099724 A) filed by Deepak Kumar Saxena on August 18, 2026, for Lt Cable For Water And Saline Prone Land.

Inventor includes Deepak Kumar Saxena.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: 1. The cable is invented for soils which are very soft with clay and very low cohesion values near sea shores specially Kutch region of India. The water table is very high thus water salinity is a major problem. By selecting the various layers, the cable is made very hard water resistance. The insulation level has been increased to x2 than nominal by removing armor. making cable more reliable. the effect of abrasion is taken care by HDPE-ST-7 grade which is abrasion resistant. 2. By selecting XLPO the cable insulation level will be more flexible against external forces thus avoiding the damage. 3. The innovation can be a gamechanger for solar plants to be installed in waste lands with low cost cabling and avoiding above ground cabling practice which is at present adopted in such lands. Above ground cabling creates lots of hindrances and obstructions in movement of vehicles during O&M stage.
