Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may obtain, from an upper layer of the UE, a request for a lower layer of the UE to report a set of candidate sidelink (SL) positioning reference signal (SL-PRS) resources, wherein the request comprises one or more criterion corresponding to interlaced resource block (RB) transmissions. The UE may forward, from the lower layer, the set of candidate SL-PRS resources based on the one or more criterion to the upper layer.
