The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for low power (LP) synchronization signal (SS) and LP wake up signal (WUS) monitoring and transmission. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes determining a plurality of WUS occasions between reception of a first SS and a next SS. The determining is based on a first time offset between reception of the first SS and a first WUS occasion of the plurality of WUS occasions and further based on a second time offset between each of the plurality of WUS occasions. The method includes monitoring one or more of the plurality of WUS occasions for a WUS transmission that indicates a paging message is scheduled in one or more paging occasions (POs) for a UE group or a UE subgroup to which the UE belongs and waking up a second receiver of the UE to monitor for paging.
