The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: A non-dispersive infrared carbon-dioxide analyzer (100) is disclosed, comprising a pulsed infrared source (102), a sample chamber (106), a narrowband optical filter (110) centered near an absorption band of carbon dioxide, a detector (112), and a controller (118). The controller (118) determines carbon-dioxide concentration from the detected signal using pulse-based normalization, baseline correction, and drift compensation, optionally with reference-channel (114) normalization and temperature, humidity, and pressure compensation. Pulsed operation of the source (102) reduces electrical power consumption, while stored calibration data and self- calibration improve long-term measurement stability, providing a compact and low-cost analyzer suitable for portable and continuous monitoring.
