Abstract: Low-Power AI Accelerator Design Leveraging Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling is the proposed invention. The proposed design is to dynamically adapt the operating voltage and clock frequency according to the real-time workload variations, so that the power can be best utilised under different processing conditions. An intelligent control unit is linked with an AI-optimized computing engine to determine suitable operating states by monitoring system features such as workload intensity, utilisation, and temperature conditions. It also leverages predictive techniques to forecast changes in workload and proactively make scaling decisions. This helps to reduce the overhead of transition. The reliability is ensured by applying timing aware control and error monitoring techniques that maintain the computational accuracy in a range of voltage levels. The proposed accelerator achieves the performance-per-watt improvement by integrating the adaptive power management with an efficient processing architecture, making it suitable for energy-constrained environments such as edge devices and embedded AI systems.
