The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: Electromyography (EMG) is a widely used technique for assessing muscle activity by measuring the electrical signals generated during muscle contraction. However, conventional EMG systems are often expensive, complex, and require specialized training, limiting their accessibility in educational institutions, physiotherapy clinics, and low-resource settings. The Low-Cost EMGBased Muscle Activity Indicator is designed to-provide a simple, affordable, and portable solution for real-time muscle activity monitoring. The proposed system acquires surface EMG signals using non-invasive electrodes placed on the skin over the target muscle. These low-amplitude bioelectrical signals are amplified, filtered, and processed using low-power electronic circuitry. The processed signal is then converted into a clear visual or auditory indication representing the level of muscle activation. The indicator enables users to distinguish between resting, moderate, and strong muscle contractions in real time without the need for complex signal interpretation. The system emphasizes cost reduction, ease of use, and portability while maintaining adequate signal quality for basic assessment and demonstration purposes. It can be applied in physiotherapy training, sports rehabilitation, biomedical education, and preliminary neuromuscular assessment. By eliminating the need for advanced diagnostic equipment, this invention promotes wider adoption of EMG-based monitoring and supports practical learning and reh ip4t4e.04.wirce-constrained environments
