Abstract: ABSTRACT LORAWAN SMART UTILITY METERING SYSTEM WITH READING-PATTERN-AWARE ADAPTIVE DATA RATE AND MULTI-TENANT AGGREGATION The present invention relates to a LoRaWAN smart utility metering network management system (100) with reading-pattern-aware adaptive data rate optimization and multi-tenant data segregation. A LoRaWAN network server (130) incorporating a reading-pattern-aware ADR module (132) samples link quality metrics during scheduled meter reading transmission windows to produce adaptive data rate recommendations calibrated to actual reading-event RF conditions. A multi-tenant data router (134) segregates meter reading payloads by tenant identifier and forwards each payload to the designated utility operator application platform (140). A meter node health monitor (136) detects communication failures and battery depletion across the registered smart meter node (110) population. A network performance reporting module (138) generates per-node data rate distribution, packet delivery rate, and battery status reports. The system addresses suboptimal ADR performance of standard implementations in synchronized meter reading deployments and multi-tenant infrastructure sharing requirements of municipal smart metering programmes.
