Abstract: [045] A LoRa-based intelligent livestock tracking system is disclosed for long-range monitoring of animals over farms and remote grazing areas. A wearable animal node includes a satellite-positioning receiver, inertial sensor, LoRa transceiver and controller. The controller fuses positioning and movement information, determines location confidence, evaluates an animal relative to a multi-layer geofence, and derives a boundary-risk state using boundary distance and movement toward the boundary. The boundary-risk state and radio-link condition control sensing frequency and a LoRa communication profile so that routine operation conserves energy while predicted or confirmed boundary events invoke increased observation and communication reliability. When direct gateway delivery is inadequate, an urgent event packet may be selectively relayed by an eligible peer node using a bounded relay value and duplicate suppression. A gateway maintains animal states, performs optional secondary geofence evaluation and forwards alerts to a remote platform or user device. The system thereby coordinates physical movement risk with long-range radio operation to improve field endurance and event-delivery reliability. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2].
