Abstract: ABSTRACT LOCATION-BASED SERVICE PROVIDER DISCOVERY AND TASK ASSIGNMENT PLATFORM WITH INTEGRATED RESOURCE PROCUREMENT SYSTEM A location-based service provider discovery and task assignment platform is disclosed. The platform receives a service request from a user comprising a service category and a geographic location, and queries a worker registry to identify candidate service workers within a defined proximity radius using geospatial computation. A dynamic assignment engine ranks the candidate workers based on one or more parameters including geographic distance, real-time availability, and service performance data, and transmits the request to the highest-ranked available worker. A notification service delivers the assignment and manages acceptance-window timeout and re-assignment workflows. Upon booking confirmation, an integrated resource procurement module presents material procurement options associated with the service type, enabling joint service and product fulfilment within a single platform session. The platform is implemented on a scalable microservices architecture comprising independently deployable services. Role-specific dashboards are provided for users, service workers, and administrators. FIG. 1
