Abstract: The present invention relates to a lightweight structural bracket for use in aircraft structural assemblies, particularly for supporting and transferring mechanical loads between interconnected structural members. The proposed bracket comprises an elongated load-bearing body incorporating strategically positioned circular perforations, end mounting slots, and optimized stress-relief regions. The size, spacing, and distribution of the perforations are varied according to the predicted load and stress distribution of the bracket, thereby reducing unnecessary material while maintaining adequate structural strength and stiffness. The end regions are provided with reinforced mounting zones to improve load transfer and minimize stress concentration around fastener locations. The geometry may be optimized using finite element analysis and may be manufactured using conventional machining, sheet-metal forming, additive manufacturing, or other suitable fabrication techniques. The invention provides a lightweight, structurally efficient and manufacturable aircraft component with reduced material usage and improved strength-to-weight ratio. The proposed configuration can be adapted for aircraft brackets, support members, fuselage structural fittings, control-system supports and other secondary aircraft structures.
