Abstract: ABSTRACT LOAD DETECTION AND NOTIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE ROOFTOPS The present disclosure relates to a load detection and notification system(100) and method(200) for vehicle rooftops, configured to monitor luggage or cargo and detect loss, displacement, or detachment during vehicle operation. The system (100) comprises a plurality of load cells(101) integrated within the vehicle roof(105) to measure applied rooftop load(L1, L2, L3) and generate corresponding electrical signals, an amplifier module(103) for signal amplification and digitization, and a microcontroller(104) programmed with processing and deviation detection rules. At least one accelerometer is included to measure vehicle acceleration, inclination, and vibration, enabling compensation for dynamic vehicle motion during load analysis. An alert mechanism is activated when a sustained load deviation exceeds a predefined threshold, providing visual, audible, or remote notifications. The system(100) may further incorporate a Surround View Monitor or external camera for visual confirmation. The system(100) provides real-time, reliable, and retrofittable rooftop load monitoring to enhance vehicle safety and prevent cargo loss.
