Abstract: The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising a cathode, an anode, a separator interposed between the cathode and the anode, and an electrolyte, wherein: the cathode includes a first cathode active material and a second cathode active material having average particle diameters differing from each other; the average particle diameter (D50) of the first cathode active material is greater than the average particle diameter (D50) of the second cathode active material; the first cathode active material and the second cathode active material include single-particle-form particles; the anode comprises a silicon-based anode active material; and, for the lithium secondary battery, the interfacial resistance factor (IRF) value defined by formula 1 is 1 to 1.4. In formula 1, each variable is the same as that described in the present specification.
