Abstract: LIQUEFIED GAS STORAGE TANK The present disclosure relates to a liquefied gas storage (LGS) tank. The LGS tank may include an inner housing (202), an outer housing (204), and a set of insulation layers (201). The inner housing (202) may be configured to store the liquefied gas, and the outer housing (204) may be configured to accommodate the inner housing (202). Further, the set of insulation layers (201) disposed between the inner housing (202) and the outer housing (204) may include a boil-off gas (BOG) insulation layer (210). Furthermore, a boil-off gas (BOG) formed by a boil-off process of the liquefied gas within the inner housing (202) may be configured to be fed from the inner housing (202) to the BOG insulation layer (210) via a conduit (102), in response to a BOG pressure within the inner housing (202) exceeding a first predetermined pressure threshold.
