Abstract: A lip retracting assistive device, comprising a U-shaped body 101 configured with a C-shaped members 102 positioned in proximity to a user’s mouth, a flexible strap 103 arranged with the body 101 for securing around the user’s head, a microphone 104 integrated in the frame accessed by a practitioner to provide input commands, plurality of plates 105 arranged in the members 102 to open the user’s mouth, a pair of U-shaped hollow structures 106 filled with silicone gel positioned on upper and lower section of the user’s teeth for comfort, an imaging unit 107 integrated in the body 101 to detect excessive salivating from the user’s mouth, a vacuum unit 108 connected to the body 101 for extracting the saliva from the user’s mouth and an electronically controlled nozzle integrated with a vessel 109 installed on the body 101 for dispensing water for cleaning the user’s mouth.
