Inventors include Ms A Asra Mariyam; Ms N Hemanitha; and Dr R Suguna.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an Al-based intelligent Linux Kernel Bug Monitoring, Detection, and Deduplication System designed to improve Linux operating system reliability and security. The system integrates Linux kernel monitoring, crash report analysis, network vulnerability scanning, automation scheduling, and AI-based duplicate bug classification into a unified platform. Linux utilities such as bash scripting, Crontab, and Nmap are utilized for automated monitoring, scheduling, and security auditing. The system continuously collects kernel logs, crash reports, and runtime data, processes the information using intelligent analysis techniques, and identifies duplicated kernel bug reports based on crash behaviour and similarity patterns. Automated reporting and notification mechanisms provide system administrators with real-time alerts and system status information. The invention reduces manual effort in bug analysis, improves patch management efficiency, enhances Linux system security, and provides scalable deployment capabilities for enterprise and cloud-based Linux infrastructures.
