MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617093203 A) filed by International Business Machines Corporation on July 31, 2026, for Linear Component Installation/Uninstallation Using Pressurized Sleeve.

Inventors include Scaglione, Joseph; Elsasser, Ryan; Ruiz, Daniel; and Mann, Schuyler.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method is provided for pressurized routing linear components. The method includes obtaining data related to a project. Features are extracted from the obtained project data. The extracted features include linear component characteristics and project environment characteristics. A project design is obtained based on at least one of user input and predetermined extracted features from the extracted features from the obtained project data. The project design includes installation or uninstallation of a linear component in relation to an apparatus. Pressurization is calculated of a plurality of pouches disposed in a pressurized sleeve for the installation or uninstallation of the linear component in relation to the apparatus based on the project design. The calculated pressurization of the plurality of pouches disposed in the pressurized sleeve is implemented.
