Abstract: Provided is a light-emitting device which has a plurality of light-emitting elements and for which heat dissipation properties have been taken into consideration. The light-emitting device comprises: a first member which includes a mounting surface and in which the width of the mounting surface in a first direction is larger than the width of the mounting surface in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; a plurality of second members which are arranged on the mounting surface so as to sit side-by-side in the first direction; and a plurality of light-emitting elements which are respectively arranged on the plurality of second members so as to side side-by- side in the second direction. Each among the plurality of second members is configured such that the width in the first direction is smaller than the width in the second direction, and, in the smallest rectangle containing all of the plurality of second members in a top view, the width in the first direction is larger than the width in the second direction.
