Abstract: A light bulb handling assistive device, comprising a telescopic extendable body 101 with a handle 102 for user grip, a touch interactive display panel 103 enables users to input specifications for bulb installation or uninstallation, a microcontroller processes user input and activates an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104, which works with an ultrasonic sensor to detect the bulb’s distance, a telescopic cushioned gripper 105 on the body 101 free end extends to grip the bulb’s surface, a linear actuator 106 provides extension in order to apply an optimal force, a motorized ball and socket joint facilitates rotation, ensuring smooth uninstallation.
