Abstract: LIBRARY-CENTRIC AUGMENTED REALITY WEARABLE SKILL ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM Abstract Disclosed is a library-centric augmented reality wearable skill enhancement system comprising a front visor frame, a front guide rail, an optical carriage movable along the front guide rail, a lead screw driven by a micro motor, a rear headband with a rear headband track, and a rear counterweight carriage coupled to the optical carriage through a closed-loop cable-and-pulley balancing assembly so that movement of the optical carriage causes opposite movement of the rear counterweight carriage for balance preservation. A diopter adjustment lens pack, position encoder, and controller synchronize optical adjustment with carriage travel. The controller is further coupled to a library integration module, a library catalogue system, and a content management system to retrieve resource-mapped augmented reality instructional content associated with physical library resources for presentation through the wearable device, with optional skill tracking for vocational education.
