The tool comprises a compact housing supporting a spherical grasp component, a cylindrical grasp component, a hook grasp component, a disc grasp component having interchangeable discs, in-hand manipulation components comprising coins and a pen, pinch elements comprising beads, coins, a pen and a key with a corresponding key slot, and release elements comprising a ball, a cylinder and a coin. The tool enables an occupational therapist to observe movement quality, coordination, precision, grasp patterns, object manipulation, compensatory strategies, endurance, controlled finger extension, timing, smoothness, accuracy and voluntary release during functional tasks. The compact arrangement facilitates portable administration of comprehensive hand function assessment through a single tool, supporting identification of hand function impairments, intervention planning and monitoring of rehabilitation outcomes across children and adults in clinical, therapeutic, educational and community settings.
