Abstract: An LED, Light Emitting Diode, driver (100), comprising a electric driver output (182'), the LED driver (100) being arranged to provide a current to the electric driver output (182') according to a binary control signal; and a timer function (132'), configured to update a timer counter variable at a timer frequency, the timer function (132') being configured to, for each update, compare the timer counter variable to a set compare value, and the timer function (132') being configured to, in case the timer counter variable has reached the set compare value, cause the binary control signal to switch between a first and second binary state, wherein a duration of a repeated control signal pattern of the binary control signal is longer than the time it takes for the timer counter variable to complete a full cycle, and wherein the LED driver (100) is arranged to update the set compare value at least two times during each individual control signal pattern.
