The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: Abstract A Leakage Probability Index (LPI)-based LPG monitoring and adaptive regulator control system is disclosed. The system comprises a gas sensing module, a cylinder weight monitoring module, a processing and control unit, a regulator control module, and an IoT communication interface. The processing and control unit generates a Leakage Probability Index representing the likelihood of an LPG leakage event by evaluating gas concentration data, cylinder weight variation characteristics, consumption anomaly factors, and sensor confidence values. The generated Leakage Probability Index is utilized to classify operating conditions into multiple risk levels and to initiate adaptive safety actions including warning generation, remote notification, alarm activation, and automatic regulator shutdown. The system further incorporates false-alarm suppression through multi-parameter validation and confidence-based sensor fusion. By providing predictive leakage assessment rather than threshold-based detection, the invention improves safety, reliability, and decision accuracy in domestic LPG management systems.
