MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611101459 A) filed by Pc Technology And Solutions Private Limited on August 21, 2026, for Large-Area Perovskite Solar Cells And Module With Low-Temperature Encapsulation And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Kumar, Sooraj; Shalini; Tondare, Yash; and Pandey, Nandlal.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a perovskite solar module (100) and method for fabricating and encapsulating large-area perovskite solar modules (100). The module (100) comprises a back glass substrate (101), a perovskite module stack (102) with interconnected cells, an electrode pattern (103), contact isolation regions (104) created through P4 laser scribing, electrical contact terminals (105), a blanket encapsulation layer (106), edge sealing materials (107) in a multilayer configuration, and a cover glass (108). The invention enables low-temperature vacuum lamination processing in the range of 80°C to 120°C under controlled pressure conditions, minimizing thermal stress on temperature-sensitive perovskite materials. The integrated multilayer edge sealing configuration with desiccants provides enhanced moisture protection suitable for scalable manufacturing of large-area modules. (Figure 1)
