MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611101492 A) filed by Pc Technology And Solutions Private Limited on August 22, 2026, for Large-Area Perovskite Photovoltaic Module With Laser-Assisted Patterning And Method Of Fabrication Thereof.

Inventors include Kumar, Sooraj; Shalini; Rao, Ankit Kumar; and Mishra, Ashutosh.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: A large-area perovskite photovoltaic module (100) includes a substrate (102) and a plurality of sub-cells (104) disposed on the substrate (102). Each sub-cell (104) includes a first transparent conductive layer (106), a first charge transport layer (108) in electrical communication with the first transparent conductive layer (106), a perovskite layer (110) configured to absorb incident light and generate charge carriers, a second charge transport layer (112) configured to receive charge carriers, and a second transparent conductive layer (114) in electrical communication with the second charge transport layer (112). A plurality of laser-scribed interconnection regions (116) electrically connect adjacent sub-cells (104) in series, each interconnection region (116) including at least one laser-scribed channel (118). The laser-scribed channels (118) are formed by optimized laser patterning to enable monolithic integration, and the module (100) has a geometrical fill factor configured to minimize inactive dead area.
