Abstract: The present disclosure provides a ladder assembly including: a mounting support installed on the side wall of an elevator shaft; a ladder removably installed on the mounting support; a safety switch installed on the sidewall, configured to be electrically connected to the elevator safety circuit; and a trigger device installed on either the side wall or the ladder, positioned above the safety switch, and configured to respond to the ladder being installed on the mounting support to restrict the switch state of the safety switch, thereby closing the elevator safety circuit.
