Abstract: A User Equipment, UE, configured to: receiving configuration information associated withCL TM, the configuration information indicative of an indication associated with network based TA precedence, and an indication associated with early UE based TA estimation; estimating TA information for at least one candidate access node; receiving information configured to instruct the UE to initiate a RACH procedure to acquire early TA information for CL TM; disabling, based at least in part on the indication associated with early UE based TA estimation and receiving the information configured to instruct the UE to 15 initiate a RACH procedure, use of the UE estimated TA information; starting a timer associated with disabling use of the UE estimated TA information; determining that a CL TM condition or conditions for a first candidate access node has been met; and 20 triggering RACH-Iess CL TM towards the first candidate access node using the estimated TA information.
