Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a self-navigating mobile robot (100) that comprises a user device (102) configured to receive a destination input representing a target location and transmit the destination input for initiating autonomous navigation. A structural body (104) supports and accommodates robot components and maintains a stacked robotic platform structure. A plurality of sensors (106) mounted on the structural body (104) detects surrounding environmental conditions and generates environmental sensing data. A communication network (116) transmits the environmental sensing data to a microcontroller (118). The microcontroller (118) processes the environmental sensing data through a data input module (120), a sensor processing module (122), a mapping and localization module (124), a navigation planning module (126), a motion control module (128), and an output module (130). The output module (130) transmits locomotion control signals to a drive unit (132) for controlled movement. A user interface (140) presents navigation status data.
