MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109581 A) filed by G. L. Bajaj Institute Of Technology And Management on September 12, 2026, for Kubernetes Alert-Processing System For Context-Grounded Operational Runbook Generation.
Inventors include Vibhor Sharma; Dr Sansar Singh Chauhan; and Shikhar Prateek Pandey.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is a cloud-native alert-processing system that generates an operational runbook for a Kubernetes infrastructure alert. A network interface receives an alert payload containing an alert description and metadata identifying an alert type, severity, or affected service. A storage device retains historical incident records, corresponding vector embeddings, and incident metadata. In response to the payload, a processor encodes the alert description as an alert vector, retrieves historical incident records according to vector similarity and metadata correspondence, and constructs a prompt containing the alert payload, the retrieved records, and a runbook- generation instruction. A language-model interface submits the prompt to a language model, receives a context-grounded operational runbook, and provides the runbook through an output interface for operator presentation. Generated commands remain operator-facing guidance and are not transmitted to control an affected Kubernetes resource.
