Abstract: A kneeled-down task performing assistive device comprising, a J-shaped frame 101 having a first portion developed to accommodate a user’s ankle portion, wherein the second portion is developed to secure the user’s knee portion, an imaging unit 102 integrated in the frame 101 and paired with a processor to determines dimensions of the user’s leg, a pair of telescopically operated J-shaped rods 103 incorporated in the frame 101 to extend/retract for increasing/decreasing dimensions of the frame 101, a pair of looped straps 104 attached with the portions for securing the frame 101 on the user’s leg allowing the user to comfortably walk on a surface while wearing the frame 101, a first plate fabricated with a cushioned member 105 is integrated on the second portion, for providing a comfortable experience to the user’s knee.
