MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641127348 A) filed by Dr. Akkenapally Punnaiah on October 26, 2026, for Kiosk-Based Artificial Intelligence And Iot Enabled Agricultural Economic Decision Support System.

Inventor includes Dr. Akkenapally Punnaiah.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A kiosk-based artificial intelligence and Internet of Things enabled agricultural economic decision support system is disclosed. The system comprises a farmer-operated kiosk (200) having a processor/controller (207), display and user-input interface (203), data-input or identification unit (202), communication subsystem (206), local storage (208) and advisory output unit (205). The kiosk receives farm, resource, soil, weather, market and policy information and supplies the information to an artificial intelligence economic prediction engine (105) and an economic optimization engine (106). The prediction engine predicts crop yield, market price, cultivation cost, demand, resource requirements and economic risk. The optimization engine evaluates multiple crop and resource scenarios using predicted revenue, cost, resource constraints and risk and generates an economically optimized recommendation. The recommendation is presented on the kiosk and may be printed or transmitted to an authorized device. The system dynamically updates recommendations in response to changing agricultural, market, weather, cost or policy data.
