The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The Kinetic Road Light Charging System captures and converts kinetic energy from vehicle movement to power streetlights. Embedded pressure pads in the road surface activate rotary dynamos when vehicles pass over them, generating electrical energy that is stored in rechargeable batteries. This energy is wirelessly transferred to nearby LED streetlights equipped with motion sensors to adjust brightness based on traffic conditions. Each streetlight also features a backup solar panel for additional power during low traffic or adverse weather. The system’s modular design allows for easy installation and maintenance, offering a sustainable, cost-effective, and energy-efficient lighting solution with minimal reliance on external power sources, making it suitable for urban and rural areas.
