Abstract: The present invention relates to an Ayurvedic herbal medicated hair oil composition and a process for its preparation. The composition comprises a blend of natural carrier oils including coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, castor oil, mustard oil and cow ghee, together with a plurality of medicinal herbs, botanical ingredients and Ayurvedic mineral preparations. The process comprises preparing a concentrated herbal decoction, reducing its volume, filtering the decoction, mixing it with the carrier oils, and subjecting the mixture to controlled low-temperature Sneh Paka heating until substantially all water is removed, followed by filtration and packaging. The resulting medicated hair oil promotes hair growth, reduces hair fall, controls dandruff, delays premature greying, strengthens hair follicles, nourishes the scalp, and improves overall hair health. The formulation is suitable for large-scale manufacture in the Ayurvedic pharmaceutical, cosmetic and personal care industries.
