The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a biomimetic toothpaste composition comprising keratin-derived polypeptides, biomineralizing peptides, calcium and phosphate ion sources, and a marine bioadhesive peptide fraction derived from sandcastle worms (Sabellariidae). The formulation enables the formation of a protein- based scaffold on the tooth surface, followed by directed nucleation and growth of hydroxyapatite crystals, resulting in the formation of a mineralized layer integrated with natural enamel. The marine bioadhesive peptides enhance adhesion and retention of the biomineralizing matrix on enamel surfaces, thereby improving remineralization efficiency. The composition further provides dentinal tubule occlusion, reduction of dentin hypersensitivity, enhanced enamel repair, and improved tooth appearance, while remaining biocompatible and suitable for routine oral care use.
