Abstract: Ensuring consistent water quality and operational reliability in rural piped water supply systems is critical for public health and sustainable resource management. This paper introduces JAL SENTINEL, an IoT-based digital monitoring platform designed to enable continuous operation and maintenance of rural water distribution networks. The system integrates water quality sensors with an ESP32 microcontroller to capture real-time parameters including turbidity, temperature, and total dissolved solids (TDS). Sensor data is processed at the edge and transmitted to a remote cloud server using the lightweight MQTT communication protocol, ensuring efficient and reliable data flow even in low-bandwidth rural settings. The collected readings are visualized through a web-based dashboard, allowing authorities to remotely access live system status, while an automated email alert mechanism notifies responsible personnel whenever measured parameters exceed predefined safe thresholds. This closed-loop architecture supports e
