Abstract: ABSTRACT: The invention relates to a composite resin preheating device designed for chairside use in restorative dentistry. The device, configured as a portable preheating gun, provides a controlled mechanism to rapidly and uniformly raise the temperature of resin-based restorative materials to an optimal pre-set range. Pre- heating of composite resin reduces viscosity, enhances flowability, improves adaptation to cavity walls, and facilitates efficient placement during restorative procedures. The device comprises a compact housing with an integrated heating element, insulated cartridge chamber, adjustable temperature control, and safety features such as auto shut-off and thermal regulation. Portability is ensured through a lightweight ergonomic design and rechargeable power source. The invention addresses limitations of existing bulky or inefficient heating systems, offering a user-friendly, efficient, and clinically reliable solution to enhance handling properties and clinical performance of composite resin restorative materials.
