Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an isolated DC-DC boost converter system (100). The converter includes three switching devices S1 (106-2), S2 (106-4), S3 (106-6), a pair of inductors L1 (104-2) and L2 (104-4), a transformer (108), and a high-voltage capacitor CH (110). The converter employs a dual-duty-cycle strategy in which inductors charge in parallel under the first duty cycle and discharge in series under the second duty cycle, reducing input current ripple and enabling high voltage gain. The transformer (108) provides galvanic isolation and voltage step-up functionality, while the capacitor stores energy, supplies the load (112) during charging phases, and filters output ripple. The system operates in three distinct modes within each switching cycle, coordinating synchronous and sequential switching to balance component stress and ensure efficient energy transfer. The converter topology provides high-density power conversion with stable output regulation.
