Abstract: An ironing assistive device comprising a triangular-shaped plate 101 configured with a pair of clamps to grip edge of an ironing board over which user irons clothes, an AI-based imaging unit 102 to determine the positioning of cloth over board, pair of telescopic rods 103 configured with plate 101 extend and position in proximity to cloth, grippers configured with rods 103 grips portion of cloth falling out from board, a ball and socket joint 105 arranged between each of the rods 103 and plate 101 provides movement to rods 103 to straighten gripped portion of cloth to iron the gripped portion of cloth appropriately, a textile sensor integrated with each of grippers to determine the type of fabric of the cloth to determine appropriate temperature to be applied over the cloth, a speaker 109 installed over the plate 101 to notify the user regarding the evaluated temperature.
