Abstract: An iron core, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises a laminate in which a plurality of non-oriented electrical steel sheets are laminated, the non-oriented electrical steel sheets comprising, by weight %, 1.5% to 5.0% of Si, 0.1% to 2.5% of Al, and 0.1% to 2.5% of Mn, with the remainder being Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein each of the non-oriented electrical steel sheets has a nitrogen diffusion layer that extends inward from the side surface of the laminate to a depth of up to 30 ?, wherein the nitrogen content in the nitrogen diffusion layer ranges from 0.005 wt% to 0.020 wt%.
