Abstract: The present system proposes an IoT-Integrated Cognitive Radio Network for Dynamic Spectrum Allocation and Interference Mitigation that intelligently manages wireless spectrum resources using Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing. IoT devices equipped with cognitive radio capabilities continuously sense available spectrum bands and transmit sensing information to nearby edge gateways. A Reinforcement Learning-based spectrum allocation engine dynamically assigns optimal communication channels based on historical occupancy, interference levels, signal quality, and Quality of Service requirements. An LSTM-based predictive model forecasts future interference conditions, enabling proactive spectrum handoff and reducing packet collisions. Cloud infrastructure maintains long-term spectrum usage history for continual model retraining, while edge nodes perform low-latency inference for real-time decision making. The proposed invention improves spectrum utilization, communication reliability, throughput, energy efficiency, and scalability for heterogeneous IoT environments, making it suitable for smart cities, industrial IoT, healthcare monitoring, autonomous transportation, precision agriculture, and next-generation 6G wireless communication systems.
