Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a smart education system powered by IoT for automated evaluation of English skills. Through the integration of various IoT devices, including smart microphones, biometric sensors, and tablet computers, the system will be able to collect multichannel data during the assessment of English skills, whether through speaking or writing English. With the use of complex algorithms of natural language processing and machine learning, the collected data will be analysed, and the pronunciation, fluency, grammar, and vocabulary will be evaluated without any human intervention. Moreover, biometric sensors will be used to evaluate the level of anxiety or confidence of the learner. The IoT-based solution will remove human bias, provide instant feedback, and reduce the workload of teachers. FIG.1
