Abstract: This invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled smart aquaculture system for realtime water quality monitoring and automated farm control. The system comprises water quality sensors configured to continuously measure critical parameters including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, salinity, conductivity and water level. The sensor data are acquired and processed by a microcontroller-based embedded unit and transmitted to a cloud platform through a wireless communication network using IoT protocols. Aerators, water pumps, automatic feeds, and other farm equipment can be controlled manually or automatically, and remote monitoring, historical data analysis, and quick notifications are made possible by a web-based dashboard and mobile application. The system incorporates intelligent decision-making algorithms to automatically regulate farm operations based on predefined threshold values and predictive models, thereby maintaining optimal water quality and minimizing human intervention. The proposed invention enhances fish health, improves production efficiency, reduces water and energy consumption, and supports sustainable aquaculture practices through continuous ------- monitoring, remote accessibility, and intelligent automation. The system is scalable for deployment across single or multiple aquaculture ponds and is suitable for freshwater, brackish water, and marine aquaculture applications.
