Abstract: ABSTRACT: IoT-Enabled Two-Wheeler-Mounted Mechanical Drain Cleaning and Waste Collection Apparatus with Stabilized Power Transmission This invention describes an IoT-enabled two-wheeler-mounted mechanical drainage cleaning and waste collection apparatus configured for cleaning open drains, roadside gutters, drainage inlets, and shallow sewage channels in confined urban environments. The apparatus converts a conventional two-wheeler into a stabilized stationary cleaning platform through deployable stabilizers and a rear-wheel lifting mechanism that enables mechanical power transfer from the vehicle drivetrain to a cleaning mechanism through a power take-off transmission. A telescopic cleaning arm supports interchangeable cleaning heads for removing different categories of drainage blockages while a torque-limited transmission protects the apparatus against excessive loading. Integrated hazardous gas sensing, waterproof visual inspection, intelligent cleaning control, waste collection, and operator safety interlocks improve operational safety. Cleaning records, GPS location, waste classification, operational status, and maintenance data are transmitted to remote municipal platforms through wireless communication, thereby enabling efficient, safe, and digitally monitored drainage maintenance without requiring direct manual contact with hazardous drainage waste.
