The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-enabled smart school bag system designed to monitor the weight of a school bag in real time and assist students in organizing educational materials according to a predefined academic timetable. The system integrates load sensing modules embedded within the base of the bag, RFID-based book identification units, an embedded microcontroller processing unit, and a wireless communication module for data transmission. The load sensors continuously measure the total weight of the bag, while the RFID reader detects and identifies textbooks and notebooks equipped with RFID tags. The microcontroller processes the sensor data and compares the detected educational materials with the scheduled subjects stored in a mobile or cloud-based timetable database. In the event of excessive bag weight, missing books, or unnecessary materials, the system generates real-time alerts and recommendations through a connected mobile application. The proposed invention facilitates ergonomic load management for school children, improves organization of study materials, and enables remote monitoring by parents or educational institutions through IoT-based data communication and analytics.
