The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT-enabled smart medicine vending machine configured to dispense selected medicines or healthcare products only after authenticated digital payment confirmation. The machine comprises a housing with multiple medicine slots, an ESP32-based IoT controller, an Arduino Nano motor control unit, a TFT display, a regulated power unit, and servo-driven spiral dispensing mechanisms. A user selects a medicine through a web-based interface, whereafter the IoT controller generates or obtains a dynamic UPI QR code corresponding to the selected product and payable amount. The QR code, product details, amount, and countdown timer are displayed on the TFT screen. A backend payment server verifies the UPI transaction through a webhook or payment status API. Only after authenticated payment confirmation, the IoT controller sends a slot-specific UART command to the motor controller, which actuates the corresponding servo mechanism to release one item into a collection tray. The invention provides secure, cashless, low-cost, and fail-safe medicine dispensing. (Accompanied Figure No. 1-6)
