Abstract: ABSTRACT IOT-ENABLED SMART MEDICINE DISPENSER WITH SCHEDULED DOSE RELEASE AND ADHERENCE MONITORING The present invention discloses an IoT-enabled smart medicine dispenser system (100) for automated medication management. A multi-compartment rotating dispenser drum (110) driven by a stepper motor (114) releases scheduled doses through a compartment gate mechanism (116) into a dispensation tray (120). A load cell sensor (122) detects dose removal. A microcontroller unit (130) coordinating with a real-time clock module (132) manages dispensation scheduling, monitors dose removal within a configurable timeout, and triggers audio-visual alerts through an alert module (136). Upon missed dose timeout expiry, the system transmits events to a cloud platform (140) which dispatches push notifications and SMS to caregiver contacts and email to healthcare providers. The cloud platform (140) maintains a medication adherence database (142) with dose-level records and provides adherence analytics. Authorised healthcare providers can remotely reprogram medication schedules through a web dashboard (160). [
