Abstract: ABSTRACT IOT-ENABLED SMART LOCK SYSTEM WITH MOTION DETECTION FOR DESK AND ENCLOSURE SECURITY The present invention provides an IoT-enabled smart lock system (100) for desk and enclosure security, integrating remote lock control, motion detection, and real-time cloud-based monitoring in a unified architecture. The system comprises an ESP32 microcontroller (110) with Wi-Fi connectivity (112) interfacing with a Blynk IoT platform (192), enabling users to remotely lock or unlock a solenoid-based locking mechanism (130) through a smartphone application (194). A PIR motion sensor (120) provides autonomous surveillance and triggers an audible buzzer (170) along with instant cloud notifications upon detecting unauthorized movement. The power management unit (140) incorporating an LM2596 buck converter (142), relay switching module (150) with transistor driver (156), and flyback diode (160) ensures safe and reliable operation. The system delivers enhanced security through multi-layered protection combining physical locking, motion detection, local deterrence, and remote alerts, suitable for residential, office, and institutional security applications.
