Abstract: ABSTRACT IoT-ENABLED SMART LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATED CUTOFF AND DUAL-MODE OPERATION The present invention discloses an IoT-enabled smart lighting system (100) with automated cutoff and dual-mode operation. The system comprises a control unit (110) with an ESP32 microcontroller (112) processing inputs from a sensor module (120) including a PIR sensor (122) for motion detection and an LDR sensor (124) for ambient light measurement. A relay module (130) interfaces with a lighting load (140) comprising standard household light bulbs, enabling control of high-voltage electrical loads. The system integrates with the Blynk IoT platform through an IoT communication module (150), providing remote monitoring and control via a mobile application (160). Key features include dual-mode operation supporting automatic sensor-based control and manual IoT-based control, an automated cutoff timer (114) for energy conservation, and a Wi-Fi auto-reconnect mechanism (152) for reliable connectivity. The invention provides energy-efficient, user-convenient intelligent lighting suitable for residential and commercial applications. [
